भोभो मामा कृथाः पापं सूर्यवंशयशोधर । मदयंतीपतिस्त्वं हि राजेंद्रो न तु राक्षसः
bhobho māmā kṛthāḥ pāpaṃ sūryavaṃśayaśodhara | madayaṃtīpatistvaṃ hi rājeṃdro na tu rākṣasaḥ
«¡Ay, ay! No cometas este pecado, oh portador de la gloria de la dinastía solar. Tú eres en verdad el esposo de Madayantī, señor entre reyes, no un rākṣasa.»
