घृतेन बोधयेद्दीपं नृत्यं गीतं च कारयेत् । सोमवारे तथाष्टम्यां प्रभाते पूजयेद्द्विजान्
ghṛtena bodhayeddīpaṃ nṛtyaṃ gītaṃ ca kārayet | somavāre tathāṣṭamyāṃ prabhāte pūjayeddvijān
Se debe encender la lámpara con ghee y disponer danza y canto. En lunes, y asimismo en la octava tithi, se ha de honrar por la mañana a los dos veces nacidos (dvija).
