Type: ghat
Listener: Rājendra (addressed as ‘rājendra’)
Scene: Śiva joyfully takes residence at the tīrtha; the landscape brightens, devas shower flowers; later pilgrims bathe once in the waters, dark ‘sin’ motifs dissolving into light.
Divine presence transforms geography into grace; a tīrtha becomes a practical path of purification for ordinary people.
Gopāreśvara Tīrtha, sanctified by the Lord’s dwelling and famed for sin-dispelling bath.
Snāna (ritual bath) at the tīrtha—said to remove a great accumulation of sins even with a single bath.
