सूर्यग्रहे तु यः स्नात्वा दद्याद्दानं यथाविधि । हस्त्यश्वरथरत्नादि गृहं गाश्च युगंधरान्
sūryagrahe tu yaḥ snātvā dadyāddānaṃ yathāvidhi | hastyaśvaratharatnādi gṛhaṃ gāśca yugaṃdharān
Pero quien, en el tiempo del eclipse solar, se baña allí y luego da limosna conforme al rito—elefantes, caballos, carros, joyas y demás, casas y vacas aptas para el yugo—obtiene un mérito inmenso.
