तिलसंमिश्रतोयेन तर्पयेत्पितृदेवताः । पिण्डदानेन च पित्ःन् पैण्डरीकफलं लभेत्
tilasaṃmiśratoyena tarpayetpitṛdevatāḥ | piṇḍadānena ca pitḥn paiṇḍarīkaphalaṃ labhet
Con agua mezclada con sésamo, ofrézcanse libaciones (tarpaṇa) a las deidades ancestrales; así quedan satisfechos los Pitṛs. Y mediante la ofrenda de piṇḍas a los antepasados, se obtiene el mérito llamado el fruto ‘Paiṇḍarīka’.
