गजाः पुनश्चैव पुनः पिबन्तो जगत्समन्तात्परिदह्यमानम् । आपूरितं चैव जगत्समन्तात्सर्वैश्च तैर्जग्मुरदर्शनं च ते
gajāḥ punaścaiva punaḥ pibanto jagatsamantātparidahyamānam | āpūritaṃ caiva jagatsamantātsarvaiśca tairjagmuradarśanaṃ ca te
Los elefantes, bebiendo una y otra vez, se movían mientras el mundo por todas partes era abrasado. Y cuando el mundo quedó colmado de aguas por doquier, todos aquellos elefantes desaparecieron de la vista.
