जज्वाल सहसा दीप्तं भूमण्डलमशेषतः । ज्वालामालाकुलं सर्वमभूदेतच्चराचरम्

jajvāla sahasā dīptaṃ bhūmaṇḍalamaśeṣataḥ | jvālāmālākulaṃ sarvamabhūdetaccarācaram

De pronto ardió por doquier toda la esfera de la tierra, sin dejar rincón; y todo lo móvil e inmóvil quedó envuelto en guirnaldas de llamas.
