Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Offering: pushpa
It teaches that the Supreme (Parama-kāraṇa) can be approached through a sanctified form: by properly completing and consecrating the form, the devotee’s mind becomes fit for focused devotion (bhakti) and grace.
The verse supports Saguna-upāsanā: after preparing the sacred form and invoking Shiva (āvāhana), one worships Him as the Supreme Cause—showing that form-worship is a valid doorway to realizing the formless reality.
It indicates a sequential pūjā method: create/prepare the form, perform proper consecration (sakalīkaraṇa) in due order, invoke Shiva (āvāhana), and worship—typically accompanied by mantra-japa such as the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya).
