Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadyojāta
Mantra: tṛtīyaṃ śivabījeṣu ... devasya paścime bhāge śaktyā saha samarcitam
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: liberating
It teaches that Śiva is worshipped inseparably with Śakti, and that mantra (Śiva-bīja) carries specific divine potencies (kalās) which, when revered correctly, supports purification and steady ascent toward Śiva-realization (Pati) in Shaiva Siddhanta.
The verse implies a directional and energetic placement in Linga/Saguna-Śiva worship: the Lord is approached through ordered ritual space, and the western side is assigned this particular Śiva-bīja along with Śakti—affirming that Saguna worship is structured, mantra-centered, and Shakti-inclusive.
A mantra-based upacāra/nyāsa style worship: place attention on the Lord’s western aspect and worship the specified Śiva-bīja together with Śakti, maintaining purity, devotion (bhakti), and focused repetition (japa) as part of a disciplined Shiva-puja.
