Pañcāvaraṇa-mārga Stotra to Yogeśvara Śiva

Tattva Level: pasha
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Cosmic Event: brahmāṇḍa (cosmic egg) as the field of governance
It distinguishes cosmic function from ultimate supremacy: Vishnu’s lordship operates within the brahmāṇḍa (creation), while Shaiva doctrine holds Śiva as the transcendent source and final liberator (Pati) beyond the worlds.
By showing that even great deities govern only within the cosmic order, it turns the seeker toward Linga-worship of Śiva as the sign of the Absolute—Saguna for devotion and Nirguna in essence—who grants liberation beyond worldly domains.
Contemplate the brahmāṇḍa as limited and Śiva as unlimited; support this with japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and, where practiced, Tripuṇḍra-bhasma and rudrākṣa as reminders of Śiva’s supremacy beyond the two worlds.
