वैशाख्यां तु विशाखायां कुर्यात्पुष्पमहालयम् । ज्येष्ठे मूलाख्यनक्षत्रे शीतकुम्भं प्रदापयेत्
vaiśākhyāṃ tu viśākhāyāṃ kuryātpuṣpamahālayam | jyeṣṭhe mūlākhyanakṣatre śītakumbhaṃ pradāpayet
En el mes de Vaiśākha, cuando prevalece la constelación Viśākhā, debe disponerse un gran recinto de ofrenda de flores (puṣpa-mahālaya) para el culto de Śiva. En el mes de Jyeṣṭha, cuando está presente el nakṣatra llamado Mūlā, debe ofrecerse un cántaro de agua refrescante: devoción que alivia a los seres y complace al Señor.
