(Pūjāvidhāna-vyākhyā) — Exposition of the Procedure of Worship

It teaches that outer ritual (homa) must be completed according to rule, but the heart of Shiva-worship is inward attentiveness (cintā); the rite becomes fruitful when action and contemplation conclude together in devotion to Pati (Shiva).
In Linga/Saguna Shiva worship, standardized ritual steps culminate in a mindful closing; the verse emphasizes that the concluding rites are not merely formalities but seal the devotee’s focused remembrance of Shiva in the Linga.
Complete the homa with the proper concluding procedure, then end the worship with steady contemplation—mentally holding Shiva and/or the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) as the inner completion of ārādhana.
