It teaches a Shaiva daily discipline: begin the day by remembering Pati (Śiva) with Śakti (Ambā), then perform worldly duties with a purified, dharma-aligned mind—turning ordinary action into worship.
The instruction to meditate on “the Lord with Ambā” supports Saguna upāsanā—contemplating Śiva with Śakti (often through the Liṅga with associated devī-bhāva), so that devotion precedes and sanctifies all external activity.
A dawn practice of dhyāna on Śiva-Śakti before leaving home—optionally paired with japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and a brief review of one’s duties (svadharma) before engaging the day.
