Con sólo contemplarlo a Él, y mediante otras formas semejantes de encuentro sagrado, surge la dicha suprema. Por ello, únicamente del contacto con Él nace la dicha del despertar: la verdadera iluminación espiritual.
Suta Goswami (narrating Śaiva philosophical teaching to the sages of Naimiṣāraṇya)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Significance: Darśana/saṃparka with Śiva (through temple, liṅga, guru, or remembrance) is taught as a direct cause for parānanda and prabodha—anugraha leading toward mokṣa.
Type: stotra
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: liberating
It teaches that parānanda (supreme bliss) is not merely an emotion but the fruit of Śiva’s grace experienced through direct spiritual encounter—darśana, remembrance, worship—and that true prabodha (awakening) arises specifically from communion with Pati, the liberating Lord.
“Beholding Him” naturally includes Liṅga-darśana and Liṅga-pūjā: approaching Saguna Śiva through the Liṅga gives tangible ‘contact’ (saṃparka) that ripens devotion into awakening, culminating in recognition of Śiva as the supreme reality beyond form.
Practice steady darśana and upāsanā—daily Liṅga worship with mantra-japa (especially the Pañcākṣarī, Om Namaḥ Śivāya), accompanied by attentive remembrance; this sustained ‘contact’ is presented as the cause of prabodha-ānanda.
