नारद उवाच । विधे विधे महाभाग धन्यस्त्वं सुरसत्तम । श्राविताद्याद्भुता शैवकथा परमपावनी
nārada uvāca | vidhe vidhe mahābhāga dhanyastvaṃ surasattama | śrāvitādyādbhutā śaivakathā paramapāvanī
Dijo Nārada: «¡Oh Vidhātṛ (Brahmā), oh Vidhātṛ! ¡Oh muy afortunado, el mejor entre los dioses! Bendito eres, pues hoy me has hecho escuchar esta maravillosa narración śaiva de Śiva, supremamente purificadora».

The verse highlights śravaṇa (devotional listening) as a direct purifier: hearing Śiva-kathā cleanses the mind and turns the seeker toward Pati (Śiva), loosening pāśa (bondage) and ripening devotion.
