Sukta 9.74
श्वेतं रूपं कृणुते यत्सिषासति सोमो मीढ्वाँ असुरो वेद भूमनः । धिया शमी सचते सेमभि प्रवद्दिवस्कवन्धमव दर्षदुद्रिणम् ॥
śvetáṃ rūpáṃ kṛṇute yát sisā́sati sómo mīḍhvā́ṃ ásuro véda bhū́manaḥ | dhiyā́ śámī sacate sém abhí prá-vad divás kavándham áva darṣad udríṇam ||
Él hace una forma blanca cuando desea ser puesto en movimiento — Soma, el fuerte dador, el Asura que conoce la vastedad. Con el pensamiento se une al poder apaciguador; y empuja hacia delante, haciendo visible el tonel celeste, derramando hacia abajo la corriente alzada.
