पवमान ऋतः कविः सोमः पवित्रमासदत् । दधत्स्तोत्रे सुवीर्यम् ॥

pávamāna ṛtáḥ kavíḥ sómaḥ pavítram ā́sadat | dádhat stotrḗ su-vī́ryam ||

Autopurificándose, el vidente de la Verdad — Soma — ha tomado asiento en el purificador (pavitra), depositando en nuestro himno una noble fuerza heroica (su-vīrya).
