अग्ने कविर्वेधा असि होता पावक यक्ष्यः । मन्द्रो यजिष्ठो अध्वरेष्वीड्यो विप्रेभिः शुक्र मन्मभिः ॥

ágné kavír vedhā́ ási hótā pā́vaka yákṣyaḥ | mandró yájiṣṭho adhvaréṣv ī́ḍyo víprebhiḥ śúkra mánmabhiḥ ||

Oh Agni, tú eres kavi y vedhá, el hotar, el purificador: realiza el sacrificio. Gozoso, el más diestro en el rito, digno de alabanza en los adhvara, resplandeces con los pensamientos brillantes de los inspirados.
