अश्वा न या वाजिना पूतबन्धू ऋता यद्गर्भमदितिर्भरध्यै । प्र या महि महान्ता जायमाना घोरा मर्ताय रिपवे नि दीधः ॥

aśvā́ ná yā́ vā́jinā pūtá-bandhū ṛtā́ yád gárbham áditir bháradhyai | prá yā́ máhi mahā́ntā jā́yamānā ghorā́ mártāya ripáve ní dīdḥaḥ ||

Como corceles veloces sois vosotros dos — puros en vuestro vínculo— cuando Aditi lleva el embrión del ṛta para darlo a luz. Grandes e inmensos en vuestro nacimiento, os volvéis terribles para el mortal enemigo; lo abatís hacia abajo.
