या ते अष्ट्रा गोपशाघृणे पशुसाधनी । तस्यास्ते सुम्नमीमहे ॥

yā́ te áṣṭrā gṓpaśā́ghṛṇe paśu-sā́dhanī | tásyās te sumnám īmahe ||

Ese aguijón es tuyo, oh Pūṣan resplandeciente, que guarda los rebaños y cumple la obtención de las fuerzas vitales—por él buscamos tu gracia y tu dichosa protección.
