Sukta 6.38
तं वो धिया परमया पुराजामजरमिन्द्रमभ्यनूष्यर्कैः । ब्रह्मा च गिरो दधिरे समस्मिन्महाँश्च स्तोमो अधि वर्धदिन्द्रे ॥
táṃ vo dhiyā́ paramáyā purājā́m ájaram índram abhý anūṣy arkáiḥ | bráhmā ca gíro dadhiré sám asmin mahā́ṃś ca stómo ádhi vardhad índre ||
A él — Indra, nacido en lo antiguo, sin vejez — lo seguimos y lo apremiamos con el supremo pensamiento-visionario, con nuestros cantos. En él se asientan juntos el brahman y las palabras inspiradas; y un gran himno de alabanza crece sobre Indra.
