आ सूर्यो अरुहच्छुक्रमर्णोऽयुक्त यद्धरितो वीतपृष्ठाः । उद्ना न नावमनयन्त धीरा आशृण्वतीरापो अर्वागतिष्ठन् ॥

ā́ sū́ryo aruhac chukrám árṇo’́yukta yád dháritó vīta-pṛ́ṣṭhāḥ | udnā́ ná nā́vam anayanta dhī́rā āśṛṇvatī́r ā́po arvā́g atiṣṭhan ||

Sūrya ha subido a la corriente luminosa, cuando unció los corceles leonados de dorsos brillantes. Como los sabios conducen una barca por el agua, así las Aguas que escuchan se detuvieron cerca, moviéndose hacia aquí—sosteniendo el paso del buscador.
