Sukta 4.26

ऋजीपी श्येनो ददमानो अंशुं परावतः शकुनो मन्द्रं मदम् । सोमं भरद्दादृहाणो देवावान्दिवो अमुष्मादुत्तरादादाय ॥

ṛjīpī śyéno dádāmāno aṃśúṃ parāvátaḥ śakunó mandráṃ mádam | sómaṃ bhárad dādr̥hāṇó devávān divó amúṣmād úttarād ādā́ya ||

El halcón de alas rectas, ofreciendo el brote prensado (aṃśu), trajo desde el lejano más allá el deleite extático, la embriaguez inspirada. Aferrado al poder colmado de dioses, llevó el Soma desde aquella región más alta del cielo y lo arrebató de la cumbre suprema.
