उताभये पुरुहूत श्रवोभिरेको दृळ्हमवदो वृत्रहा सन् । इमे चिदिन्द्र रोदसी अपारे यत्संगृभ्णा मघवन्काशिरित्ते ॥

utā́bhaye puruhūta śrávobhir éko dṛḷhám avado vṛtrahā́ sán | imé cid índra ródasī apāré yát saṃgṛbhṇā́ maghavan kāśír ít te ||

Aun en el temor, oh muy invocado, por tus poderes de fama tú solo sostuviste el cimiento firme, siendo Vṛtrahan, el matador de Vṛtra. Aun estos dos Rodasī sin límites, oh Indra, parecen mantenerse unidos cuando tú, oh generoso (Maghavan), los reúnes en un solo rayo de luz para tu acción.
