उपक्षेतारस्तव सुप्रणीतेऽग्ने विश्वानि धन्या दधानाः । सुरेतसा श्रवसा तुञ्जमाना अभि ष्याम पृतनायूँरदेवान् ॥

Transliteration

upa-kṣetā́ras táva supranīté ’gne víśvāni dhányā dádhānāḥ | surétasā śrávasā túñjamānā abhí syāma pṛtanāyū́ṃr ádevān ||

Translation

Que seamos moradores junto a ti, oh Agni, bajo tu buen gobierno, portando todas las dichas. Avanzando con noble semilla de fuerza y con fama, que venzamos a los que buscan la batalla, carentes de lo divino.
