Sukta 10.54
यदचरस्तन्वा वावृधानो बलानीन्द्र प्रब्रुवाणो जनेषु । मायेत्सा ते यानि युद्धान्याहुर्नाद्य शत्रुं ननु पुरा विवित्से ॥
yád ácaras tanvā́ vāvṛdhānó bálānīndra prábruvāṇo jáneṣu | māyét sá te yā́ni yuddhā́ny āhúr nā́dya śátruṃ nánu purā́ vivitse ||
Cuando avanzaste en tu propio cuerpo, creciendo en fuerza, oh Indra, proclamando tus poderes entre los pueblos, eso en verdad es tu Māyā, esas batallas de las que hablan. Hoy no buscas a un enemigo: pues ya lo habías discernido antes.
