Sukta 10.36
विश्वस्मान्नो अदितिः पात्वंहसो माता मित्रस्य वरुणस्य रेवतः । स्वर्वज्ज्योतिरवृकं नशीमहि तद्देवानामवो अद्या वृणीमहे ॥
viśvásmān no áditiḥ pātv áṃhaso mātā́ mitrásya váruṇasya revátaḥ | svàrvaj jyótir avṛkáṃ naśīmahi tád devānām ávo adyā́ vṛṇīmahe ||
Que Aditi nos proteja de toda aflicción, ella, la madre de Mitra y del espléndido Varuṇa. Que alcancemos la luz colmada de svar, una luz sin «lobo», intacta, no tocada por la oscuridad devoradora. Esa protección de los dioses la elegimos hoy.
