सहस्रवाजमभिमातिषाहं सुतेरणं मघवानं सुवृक्तिम् । उप भूषन्ति गिरो अप्रतीतमिन्द्रं नमस्या जरितुः पनन्त ॥
sahásravājam abhimātiṣā́haṃ sutéraṇaṃ maghávānaṃ suvṛ́ktim | úpa bhūṣanti gíro ápratītam índraṃ namasyā́ jaritúḥ pananta ||
Los himnos adornan y se acercan a Indra — ganador de mil riquezas, vencedor de los asaltos hostiles, gozoso del Soma prensado, señor generoso de la palabra bien labrada. Hacia ese irresistible avanzan las reverencias del cantor; así la palabra se vuelve hermosa y los adversarios quedan abatidos.
