Sukta 1.57
अस्मै भीमाय नमसा समध्वर उषो न शुभ्र आ भरा पनीयसे । यस्य धाम श्रवसे नामेन्द्रियं ज्योतिरकारि हरितो नायसे ॥
asmái bhīmā́ya námasā sáma adhvaré uṣó ná śubhrá ā́ bharā panīyáse | yásya dhā́ma śrávase nā́mendriyáṃ jyótir akārí haríto nā́yase ||
A éste, el temible, traed en el sacrificio, con reverencia, una ofrenda brillante como al alba — una ofrenda digna de ser guardada. Su morada es para la fama; su nombre es poder de señorío; se hace una luz para guiar hacia delante, como corceles verdes uncidos para el camino.
