Sukta 1.52
यदिन्न्विन्द्र पृथिवी दशभुजिरहानि विश्वा ततनन्त कृष्टयः । अत्राह ते मघवन्विश्रुतं सहो द्यामनु शवसा बर्हणा भुवत् ॥
yád innv índra pṛthivī́ dáśa-bhujir áhāni víśvā́ tátananta kṛ́ṣṭayaḥ | átrā́ha te maghavan víśrutaṃ sáho dyā́m ánu śávasā barháṇā bhuvat ||
Cuando, oh Indra, la Tierra de diez brazos se extendía todos los días para los pueblos, entonces aquí, oh generoso (Maghavan), tu poder, oído de lejos, se volvió un vasto alzamiento por la fuerza, alcanzando hasta el Cielo.
