ओ सुष्टुत इन्द्र याह्यर्वाङुप ब्रह्माणि मान्यस्य कारोः । विद्याम वस्तोरवसा गृणन्तो विद्यामेषं वृजनं जीरदानुम् ॥

ó suṣṭúta indra yāhy arvā́ṅ úpa bráhmāṇi mā́nyasya kāróḥ | vidyā́ma vástōr ávasā gṛṇánto vidyā́meṣáṃ vṛ́janaṃ jīrá-dānum ||

Oh Indra, bien alabado, ven aquí, hacia las brahmanas, las palabras sagradas del cantor digno. Que nosotros, cantando, por tu favor ganemos el estado resplandeciente de la Aurora; que ganemos el impulso y la plenitud victoriosa, oh rápido dador del don.
