Transliteration

ā vā́m mitrāvaruṇā havyá-juṣṭiṁ námasā devāv ávasā vavṛtyām | asmā́kaṁ bráhma pṛ́tanāsu sahyā́ asmā́kaṁ vṛ́ṣṭir divyā́ su-pā́rā ||

Translation

Hacia vosotros, oh Mitra y Varuṇa, me vuelvo con reverencia — hacia el deleite de la ofrenda — por vuestro poder salvador; volveos hacia nosotros. Que nuestro brahman, la palabra sagrada inspirada, sea victorioso en las batallas; que nuestra lluvia celeste de gracia sea fácil de cruzar y nos lleve con seguridad más allá.
