Sukta 1.101
यस्य द्यावापृथिवी पौंस्यं महद्यस्य व्रते वरुणो यस्य सूर्यः । यस्येन्द्रस्य सिन्धवः सश्चति व्रतं मरुत्वन्तं सख्याय हवामहे ॥
yásya dyā́vā-pṛthivī́ paúṁsyaṁ mahád yásya vraté váruṇo yásya sū́ryaḥ | yásyéndrasya síndhavaḥ sáścati vratáṁ marútvantaṁ sakhyā́ya havāmahe ||
Aquel cuya poderosa fuerza varonil sostiene Cielo y Tierra; en cuya Ley se mueven también Varuṇa y Sūrya; cuya ordenanza siguen los Ríos (Sindhu) en su fluir — a ese Indra, con los Maruts, lo invocamos para la amistad.
