Sarga 93: Rāvaṇa’s Grief and Fury after Indrajit’s Fall; Move to Slay Vaidehī and Ministerial Restraint
हाराक्षसचमूमुख्यममवत्समहाबल ।।।।जित्वेन्द्रंकथमद्यत्वंलक्ष्मणस्यवशंगतः ।
hā rākṣasa-camū-mukhya mama vatsa mahā-bala | jitvendraṃ katham adya tvaṃ lakṣmaṇasya vaśaṃ gataḥ ||
¡Ay, oh caudillo del ejército de los Rākṣasas, hijo mío de gran fuerza! Tú que una vez venciste incluso a Indra, ¿cómo has caído hoy bajo el poder de Lakṣmaṇa?
'Because of the sinful resolve of hunch back Mandara, this grief has come to Kausalya surely. Let her be burnt'.
