El hombre y el rākṣasa disparaban ambos sin el menor fallo: con rapidez, con brillo y con perfecta precisión, haciendo la batalla tumultuosa y terrible.
Both human and Rakshasa warriors fought an exceedingly frightening and dreadful fight over one another with agility without wasting a single arrow.
The verse juxtaposes excellence with moral direction: skill can be shared by dharmic and adharmic sides alike; dharma is determined by purpose, restraint, and alignment with truth—not by prowess alone.
The duel is described at peak intensity: both sides demonstrate flawless, rapid archery, making the fight terrifying to witness.
Technical excellence (dakṣatā) and focus (ekāgratā): neither wastes arrows, showing extreme concentration.
