Transliteration

līna-puṣkara-patrāś ca narendra kaluṣodakāḥ |

santapta-padmāḥ padminyo līna-mīna-vihaṅgamāḥ ||

Translation

Oh rey, los estanques de lotos tenían el agua turbia; las hojas del loto azul se hundían y se marchitaban; los lotos estaban abrasados y mustios; peces y aves acuáticas se ocultaban.
