Transliteration

āyataiḥ vimalair netrair aśruvega-pariplutaiḥ |

anyonyam abhivīkṣante 'vyaktam ārtatarāḥ striyaḥ ||

Translation

Las mujeres, en una angustia aún más honda, se miraban unas a otras en silencio, con sus grandes y claros ojos anegados por el torrente de lágrimas.
