नैवाहमनुशोचामि लक्ष्मणो न च मैथिली।अयोध्यायाश्च्युताश्चेति वने वत्स्यामहेति च।।2.52.28।।
naivāham anuśocāmi lakṣmaṇo na ca maithilī | ayodhyāyāś cyutāś ceti vane vatsyāmaheti ca || 2.52.28 ||
No me aflijo—ni Lakṣmaṇa ni Maithilī—por haber sido apartados de Ayodhyā, ni por pensar que habremos de morar en el bosque.
I do not regret my banishment from Ayodhya to live in the forest. Neither Lakshmana nor Sita does.
Dharma is steadfast acceptance of a rightful duty (exile) without complaint, maintaining inner composure and truthfulness to one’s vow.
Rāma reassures Sumantra that the exile causes no regret to him, Lakṣmaṇa, or Sītā.
