Transliteration

ko hi dharmārthayor hīnam īdṛśaṃ karma kilbiṣam |

striyāḥ priyaṃ cikīrṣuḥ san kuryād dharmajña dharmavit ||

Translation

Oh Rama, conocedor del dharma: ¿quién, siendo sabio en la rectitud, cometería un acto tan pecaminoso, carente de dharma y de artha, sólo por complacer a una mujer?
