Visual Art Cues: {"scene_description":"A four-panel tableau unfolds like a sacred manuscript: a brāhmaṇa receives a glowing Veda manuscript, a kṣatriya stands victorious with a banner lowered by foes, a vaiśya’s granary overflows with golden grain, and a śūdra walks toward a luminous gateway labeled ‘sadgati’. Above all panels, a single divine radiance unifies the scene, implying one source of grace.","primary_figures":["brāhmaṇa","kṣatriya warrior","vaiśya merchant/farmer","śūdra devotee","unifying divine radiance (implicit Viṣṇu)"],"setting":"Manuscript-like narrative panels with subtle temple and village motifs","lighting_mood":"divine radiance with calm even illumination","color_palette":["parchment beige","saffron","deep teal","antique gold","smoke gray"],"tanjore_prompt":"Tanjore painting style: four compartmentalized scenes with ornate arches; gold leaf highlights on Veda manuscript, victory banner, grain heaps, and the sadgati gateway; rich reds/greens, embossed borders, jewel-toned costumes, central overarching halo suggesting Viṣṇu’s grace.","pahari_prompt":"Pahari miniature style: delicate multi-scene composition with refined figures; soft landscape hints behind each role—ashram, battlefield edge, market/granary, temple path; cool palette with warm gold accents, fine linework and gentle expressions.","kerala_mural_prompt":"Kerala mural style: bold outlines and flat pigments; four framed panels with patterned borders; iconic gestures—teaching, valor, offering grain, devotional walking; dominant reds/yellows/greens, temple-wall narrative clarity.","pichwai_prompt":"Pichwai cloth painting style: symmetrical four-quadrant layout with floral borders; lotus motifs connecting panels; deep blue background with gold detailing; peacocks at corners; devotional textile aesthetic emphasizing unity of grace."}

Audio Atmosphere: {"recitation_mood":"narrative","suggested_raga":"Durga","pace":"moderate-narrative","voice_tone":"authoritative","sound_elements":["tanpura drone","soft cymbals","distant temple bell","measured footfalls"]}

FAQs

It presents a varṇa-wise statement of outcomes: learning/attainment for brāhmaṇas, victory for kṣatriyas, prosperity (grain) for vaiśyas, and a благословенное destiny (sadgati) for śūdras.

Literally it means “attains the Veda,” which can imply access to Vedic learning/tradition and, more broadly, attainment of Vedic knowledge and its fruits, depending on the chapter’s surrounding context.

Sadgati commonly means a good course after death—an auspicious destination or blessed state—often linked with righteous conduct, devotion, or meritorious acts described in the surrounding passage.
