Gaṅgā-māhātmya

क्रीडते शांकरे वापि स्तुतो देवादिभिर्मुदा । भूमिरेण्वब्दसंख्याकं कालं स्थित्वा च तत्र सः ॥ ६२ ॥

krīḍate śāṃkare vāpi stuto devādibhirmudā | bhūmireṇvabdasaṃkhyākaṃ kālaṃ sthitvā ca tatra saḥ || 62 ||

Allí también se recrea en el reino de Śaṅkara, alabado con gozo por los dioses y otros seres celestiales; y, tras permanecer allí un tiempo medido en años tantos como las partículas de polvo de la tierra, continúa en ese mismo lugar.
