FAQs

It frames sacred narration (Rāma-kathā) as so vast that seekers naturally encounter doubts, and it signals the proper dharmic approach—openly presenting inner uncertainty to a competent teacher for clarification.

By centering the heart (hṛdaya) and the hearing of Raghunātha’s deeds, it implies bhakti grows through śravaṇa, but must be supported by doubt-removal so devotion becomes steady rather than confused.

Indirectly, it highlights the need for clear understanding of meaning (artha) in sacred texts—an interpretive discipline supported by Vyākaraṇa (grammar) and Nirukta (etymology) when resolving doubts in extensive narratives.
