सोऽहं दर्शनमात्रेण त्वदीयेन वरानने । मनोभवशरैर्विद्धः पतितः सहसा क्षितौ । अजल्पितवचो देवि मोहितस्तव तेजसा ॥ ४ ॥
so'haṃ darśanamātreṇa tvadīyena varānane | manobhavaśarairviddhaḥ patitaḥ sahasā kṣitau | ajalpitavaco devi mohitastava tejasā || 4 ||
Oh dama de hermoso rostro, con sólo verte fui herido por las flechas de Manobhava (Kāma) y caí de pronto a la tierra. Oh diosa, mi voz se apagó; quedé confundido ante tu resplandor.
