The Exposition of the Maheśa Mantra
Mahēśa-mantra-prakāśana
वक्त्रे मूर्धादिषु न्यस्य भूयोऽङ्गानि प्रकल्पयेत् । तारपंचकमुच्चार्य सर्वज्ञाय हृदीरितम् ॥ ५८ ॥
vaktre mūrdhādiṣu nyasya bhūyo'ṅgāni prakalpayet | tārapaṃcakamuccārya sarvajñāya hṛdīritam || 58 ||
Habiendo colocado (el mantra) por nyāsa en la boca, la cabeza y las demás partes, debe disponerse de nuevo el aṅga-nyāsa. Tras pronunciar el quíntuple ‘tāra’, recítese desde el corazón el mantra dirigido al Señor Omnisciente.

It teaches internalizing the mantra through nyāsa—installing sacred sound in the body and finally reciting it ‘from the heart,’ so worship becomes embodied and inward, directed to the Omniscient Lord.
By making the mantra reside in mouth, head, limbs, and heart, devotion is practiced as continuous remembrance (smaraṇa) and reverent recitation, transforming the practitioner into a living seat of the Lord’s name.
It highlights śikṣā-style precision in mantra utterance and ritual procedure (nyāsa/āṅga-nyāsa), emphasizing correct placement, sequencing, and recitation of the tāra syllables.
