क्षौद्राक्तैरुप्तलै रक्तैर्हवनात्प्रोक्तकालतः । सुवर्णं समवाप्नोति निधिं वा वसुधां तु वा ॥ १९५ ॥
kṣaudrāktairuptalai raktairhavanātproktakālataḥ | suvarṇaṃ samavāpnoti nidhiṃ vā vasudhāṃ tu vā || 195 ||
Al realizar la ofrenda al fuego en el tiempo prescrito con lotos rojos ungidos con miel, se obtiene oro; o bien un tesoro, o incluso tierras.

Bhakti is not explicit here; the verse belongs to a technical-ritual register where disciplined offering (havana) and observance of prescribed time are emphasized. In the Narada Purana’s broader framework, such karma is typically to be subordinated to devotion and right intention.
Kalpa (ritual procedure) and the importance of kala (timing) are foregrounded: the homa must be done with specified substances (red utpala with honey) and at the prokta-kala to yield the stated phala.
