pītapuṣpairyajeddevīṃ haridrotthasrajā japet | pītāṃ dhyāyanbhagavatīṃ payomadhye'yutaṃ japet || 95 ||
Narada (teaching in a technical/ritual register within the Narada Purana’s Vedanga-oriented section)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti (devotion)
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It prescribes a focused Devi-upasana method where color (yellow), substance (turmeric, milk), and disciplined japa-count (ten thousand) are aligned to stabilize devotion and concentration toward the Goddess’ śakti.
Bhakti is expressed through tangible offerings (yellow flowers), continuous remembrance (dhyāna), and sustained repetition (japa), showing devotion as a structured daily practice rather than only emotion.
It reflects applied ritual discipline—materials, purity-medium, and prescribed japa-saṅkhyā (count)—a technical ‘vidhi’ style instruction consistent with the Purana’s practical, procedure-oriented teaching.
