Bhuvaneśī (Nidrā-Śakti) Mantra-vidhi, Nyāsa–Āvaraṇa Worship, Padma-homa Prayogas, and the Opening of Śrī-Mahālakṣmī Upāsanā
Narada (teaching in a technical, mantra-lakshana style within the Vedanga-oriented section)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It frames Śrī-upāsanā as a disciplined mantra-practice by specifying the mantra’s traditional markers—ṛṣi, chandas, and devatā—indicating that prosperity and auspiciousness arise through properly aligned worship.
Bhakti is presented as “bhajana” (devotional worship) that bears fruit (iṣṭa) when directed to the right devatā—here Śrī—and practiced with reverence for the mantra’s revealed lineage (Bhṛgu as ṛṣi).
It highlights mantra-lakṣaṇa knowledge used in ritual recitation—identifying the mantra’s ṛṣi (Bhṛgu), chandas (Nivṛt), and devatā (Śrī)—a technical framework closely tied to Vedic chanting and application.
