Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada, within the Vedanga/technical-ritual discourse)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It presents a technical mantra–yantra method where sacred sound (the twelve-syllabled mantra) and sacred letters (Mātṛkā) are ritually arranged to channel auspiciousness and prosperity (sampat) in a dharmic way.
By prescribing the dvādaśākṣara mantra as the protective encircling power of the yantra, it places mantra-japa and reverent ritual focus at the center—treating devotion expressed through mantra as the energizing principle of the practice.
It highlights technical ritual sciences connected with mantra-śāstra and letter-arrangement (Mātṛkā-varṇa), including precise placement/encircling rules used in yantra-vidhi and related nyāsa-style applications.
