Esto debe ser escuchado siempre por los sabios: aparta las influencias maléficas de los grahas, apacigua todas las enfermedades y se vuelve causa del aumento de la longevidad.
Sanatkumara (teaching Narada in the dialogue frame)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It elevates śravaṇa (devotional listening) as a protective and purifying practice whose fruit is both inner well-being and outer auspiciousness—removing harmful influences and supporting longevity.
By emphasizing “nityaṃ śrotavyam” (constant hearing), it points to bhakti’s foundational limb—listening to sacred narration—through which fear, affliction, and negativity are dissolved by sustained contact with dharmic sound.
It reflects Jyotiṣa-oriented language (graha, duṣṭa-graha) and the applied idea of graha-śānti—pacifying adverse planetary/seizing influences through sanctioned religious hearing/recitation.
