The Description of Mārkaṇḍeya
स ऋषिः परमप्रीतो दृष्ट्वा पुत्रं सुलक्षणम् । जातकं कारयामास मङ्गलं विधिपूर्वकम् ॥ ७ ॥
sa ṛṣiḥ paramaprīto dṛṣṭvā putraṃ sulakṣaṇam | jātakaṃ kārayāmāsa maṅgalaṃ vidhipūrvakam || 7 ||
Aquel sabio, colmado de gozo al ver a su hijo de auspiciosas señales, mandó celebrar los ritos de nacimiento y las ceremonias propicias, debidamente y conforme a la norma.
